Melissa has faced more than her share of challenges. Living with Type 1 diabetes and having experienced three heart attacks since 2020, she has continued to push forward while managing her health and working to rebuild her life.

After losing her physically demanding job in August due to health issues, Melissa found herself facing an unexpected financial setback. But she didn’t let that stop her. She recently completed her PCA certification and has already started a new position.

The O’Neill Foundation of Hope was honored to come alongside Melissa during this difficult transition, helping ease some of the financial housing burden as she works toward a more stable future.

We’re so proud of Melissa for continuing to move forward despite the challenges she has faced, and we’re cheering her on as she begins this new chapter!
