A local mother of four was finally getting back on her feet after experiencing homelessness and finding stable housing again. Life was beginning to come together when her 14-year-old son tragically passed away. Through the devastation of this unimaginable loss, she is doing everything she can to stay strong and care for her three younger children as they grieve together. After falling behind on rent, she now faces the heartbreaking possibility of losing their home. The O’Neil

Sometimes the greatest acts of courage happen quietly. They happen when a parent chooses hope every morning instead of giving up. They happen when someone who has endured so much keeps believing tomorrow can be better than today. This week, The O'Neill Foundation of Hope had the privilege of supporting a mother who is working hard to rebuild her life and create a safe, stable future for her children. Some battles are fought quietly. For the past few years, Lindsay has faced significant health challenges that have changed so much in her life. Through it all, she and her partner, John, have continued to move forward one day at a time, holding onto faith and hope. This week, we were grateful to help with transportation costs for Lindsay's ongoing medical treatments. We hope it provides just a little relief during an already difficult season.
