He survived but suffered serious injuries and faces months of recovery and rehabilitation before he can return home. Despite working fulltime and doing everything she can to move forward, the sudden loss of her partner’s income left her struggling to catch up on rent and facing the possibility of eviction.

Four years ago, Geny moved here with his mother to pursue his college education. When his mother suffered a stroke, he put school on hold to work full-time and help support their family. Now, Geny has made the courageous decision to return to school and focus on his education. Geny is a promising student with a full scholarship and big dreams.
