Determination, Faithfulness amidst Adversity, and Hope

Meet our friend Danella and her wonderful daughter.

Battling cancer, Danella has experienced significant hardships on a variety of levels. In spite of this, she has remained positive, prayerful, and full of hope.

Recently a local donor gifted this vehicle to the foundation. And with unexpected transportation issues, the foundation gave the car to Danella. This should have been a joyful event and the end of a happy story.

However, someone recently tried to steal the catalytic converter from the donated car. They weren’t successful, but Danella paid a significant expense to have it repaired. After this however, she got very sick and was hospitalized twice in the past 30 days. When doctors ran her blood, they found methamphetamine in her system. She’s obviously not smoking meth, and it was unfortunately coming from her building however. Naturally, she immediately gave her 30-day notice.

To help her live in a safe and drug free environment, the foundation helped her secure a hotel room until she is able to move into her new apartment.

Danella is such an inspiration to us. In spite of so much adversity and so much hardship, she continues to stay strong, be grateful and share her deep Faith in God.
