There are moments in life when courage means taking the first step into the unknown. Right now, our friend Britteny, a mother of 8 children is doing exactly that.
After enduring years in an abusive relationship, she made the incredibly difficult decision to leave and create a safe environment for herself and her children. She found a secure place where she can start over and rebuild their lives, but there was one obstacle standing in the way: a security deposit was needed to move into their safe housing.
With the support of our donors, The O'Neill Foundation of Hope was able to help her obtain the finances for the deposit, allowing her to achieve her goal of establishing stability and building a better future for herself and her children.
