Very positive news to share: after staying for a few months, one of the first families who moved into The Bob and Kathy O’Neill House of Hope has now taken the next step in their journey. They have now moved into their own apartment and are doing very well. They are such a wonderful family, and we are excited for them and their hopeful and positive future ahead.
As such, we now have one unit available.
Please spread the word and nominate anyone who you feel could be a candidate to move in at: https://www.oneillhope.org/get-help
This “House of Hope” is a recently fully renovated up and down duplex in Bloomington. Each unit has two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The home is zero-cost transitional housing location for two separate families and individuals who are struggling and experiencing hardships.
Perhaps a recent medical diagnosis, injury, accident, etc. has caused an individual or family to lose their housing, fall behind on bills, or experience a significant hardship. This home will provide two families at a time, a 3–4-month period where they can save on housing costs and most importantly, allow them the time needed to “get back on their feet.”
Thank you for your kindness and spreading the word/sharing the Facebook post.
