Four years ago, Geny moved here with his mother to pursue his college education. When his mother suffered a stroke, he put school on hold to work full-time and help support their family. Now, Geny has made the courageous decision to return to school and focus on his education. Geny is a promising student with a full scholarship and big dreams. But with his mother working three jobs and the family sharing one car, he had no reliable way to get to school. The O'Neill Foundation

The challenges they face include serious medical conditions, injuries, unemployment, disability, mental health struggles, domestic violence, and housing instability.
